This Privacy Policy describes how ParBound (“the App”), developed by Tyler Lutz (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the App on iOS.

Summary

ParBound is designed to collect as little data as possible. Game progress and settings are stored on your device. If you use Game Center, Apple processes leaderboard and achievement data according to Apple’s own policies.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account to play ParBound. We do not operate our own login system.

The App may store locally on your device:

• Game settings and preferences
• Scores, progress, and gameplay statistics

This on-device data is not transmitted to our servers unless you contact us directly (for example, by email).

Game Center

ParBound uses Apple’s Game Center to provide leaderboards and achievements. When you sign in to Game Center and use these features, Apple may collect and process information such as your Game Center player name, scores, and achievement progress.

We do not receive your Apple ID password. Leaderboard and achievement data is handled through Apple’s Game Center service. For details on how Apple uses your data, see Apple’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Game Center privacy information.

You can disable Game Center for ParBound or sign out of Game Center in your device Settings. Some social features may not work without Game Center.

Information you send us

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include (such as your email address, device model, and message content). We use that information only to respond to your request.

Analytics and advertising

ParBound does not include third-party advertising. We do not sell your personal information. If we add analytics in a future version, we will update this policy before those features ship.

Children’s privacy

ParBound is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and deletion

On-device data remains until you delete the App or reset your device. Game Center data is retained according to Apple’s policies. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we receive, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
