Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ParBound (“the App”), developed by Tyler Lutz (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement).

The App

ParBound is a casual golf game. Features, content, and availability may change without notice. We may release updates that add, modify, or remove functionality.

Game Center and Apple services

The App integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Your use of Game Center is subject to Apple’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for Game Center outages, data loss, or changes made by Apple.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms except as described in Apple’s standard EULA.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except where law permits
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate leaderboards or achievements
• Use the App in any unlawful manner or to harass others
• Interfere with the App’s operation or connected services

Purchases

If the App offers in-app purchases in the future, those transactions are processed by Apple. Refund requests follow Apple’s policies. We do not handle payment card data directly.

Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $10 IF THE APP WAS FREE).

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms, except where prohibited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. These Terms remain in effect until you stop using the App. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, indemnity) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local law requires otherwise.
